K-pop’s Red Velvet load up their new mini-album Queendom with all of the best and tasty pop ingredients.
Queendom is an exceedingly wonderful project from a group who refuse repeat themselves, and even after seven years of activity, they still enthral and excite with their unpredictability.
Had Red Velvet not been away for quite so long, ‘Queendom’ would have been a fine palate cleanser after some of the more out-there sonics of the group’s last album series. But given the period of separation we’ve had from them, it feels a little phoned-in in places and lacking cohesiveness.
Shit got me crying tears of joy (no pun intended). Thank you Red Velvet for saving the world
After several tens of minutes trying to write a review, I'm giving up. I simply cannot write about how good this is and how amazing I am feeling right now. And I realized, you don't tell people how good a cookie tastes, you let them go see for themselves! So just go. Listen to it.

The songs were not bad, but it's not my type of song either. I am impressed though, with their title track Queendom, it sounds great.
Red Velvet's 6th mini-album, Queendom, is a beautiful composition of tracks packed with elegant vocals by the members with some solid production in the background. I like the ideas delivered from the idol group and find the title track to be fantastic. Although it's unfortunate the latter tracks falter in comparison, they're still good nonetheless and I could see myself returning to some of the songs in the near future.
