I am not going to pretend like I know anything about electronic music. It's a genre that really doesn't appeal that much to me, aside from a few exceptions (Daft Punk, some of Chemical Brothers). And this record doesn't really shake my opinion on that. Yeah, each track has a pretty interesting set of sounds that are great for the first 4 minutes or so, but become stretched out to infinity, making the record feel stretched out to more then a goddamn hour long. From start to finish, this shit bangs. Not a single dud, but there are some so and so tracks here.

These tracks aren't even remotely connected, but they're all good. Some of them are too long, but that's typical of the genre; could have used some trimming of its fat.
This was a nice rush of nostalgia. The whole album was my shit when I was like 15.

Rather than an album, >album title goes here< is a compilation album—considering many of the songs have been performed live and/or streamed via Zimmerman's Soundcloud account years prior. I'm no dubstep or drum 'n bass brofficianado, but I can actually dig this deadmau5 release. There's a certain smoothness about it that is new for deadmau5, and I have to give it props for referencing Bradbury's genius story, The Veldt
