After RB3, I had no clue how Sematary would continue his sound forward. And honestly, this was still almost as awesome as RB3. Its not as batshit and insane as RB3, but it still hits that similar energy that I love it for. The horrorcore aesthetic fits this album quite alot, tracks like "I HAIL THE NIGHT" and "RITUALS" carry that weight perfectly. It brings a tear to my eye. It's...so beautiful.
SCREAMING FOREST is everything I wanted from a new Sematary tape. It's a return to the witch house formula of HUNDRED ACRE WRIST, which I will stan to the death. leagues better than RB3 like its genuinely listenable
while still not sounding as good as RB1 and certainly not Grave House, it is a big step up for Sematary compared to the horrible spot he was in with RB3.

Also I appreciate the Evil Dead references in this but dislike the disrespect of God / Christ that Sematary has done for the past couple of years :/
Although I’m still not a fan of this mixtape, I do find the style of this one a lot more enjoyable than the style of Rainbow Bridge 3. Sematary leans into his Chief Keef influence a bit more, and it definitely works better for him.
