Throughout, Plant undersings to give necessary space to the purer tones of his partner, and once again, it already sounds like they have another classic on their hands.

Slant Magazine

Raise the Roof employs many of the same elements as the duo’s critically acclaimed 2007 album Raising Sand—blissful harmonies, gender-swapped covers of love songs, hazy folk atmospherics—but with an increased attention to the cultural history of the songs they’ve selected.

Beautiful harmonies abound in their much awaited follow up. As pretty and melodic as you would expect from two fantastic singers. Not as good as their first, but still well worth repeated listens.
