This is my introduction to The Dear Hunter and I'm going to say that I wish I knew of them/him earlier. This is a fantastic album and I'm a sucker for great concept albums. Well done.

Listen, with artwork that good, you know you're gonna be in from a treat the moment the first notes of Reprise hit you. A phenomenally paced, wonderfully produced, and beautifully performed album. The best of the Acts -- Act IV trades some rawness in production for a more varied soundscape. The integration of orchestral instrumentation into the fold is an absolute delight, with Casey Crescenzo's trademark poetic (some would argue pretentious) lyricism laid over top. Waves should be a pop hit, and A Night on the Town may be Dear Hunter's magnum opus.

Highly highly recommend for anyone into the progressive rock scene.
