Rather than fix what isn't broken, Radical finds the group doubling down and levelling-up their expansive, swaggering metalcore in every way possible.

Radical is by no means a reinvention or revelation for the band, but I wouldn't want it to be. In refusing to fix what ain't broke, ETID prove themselves once more as the reigning king of their peculiar, blood-splattered bouncy-castle.

Their sound is mercurial, ever-evolving and never settling into a pattern from moment to moment as chaos is allowed to reign.

Metal Hammer

Nearly a quarter of a century down the line and Every Time I Die are still throwing out punk anthems like they’re a cinch to create; it’s almost unfair on everyone else.

Radical feels inherently fun and even spontaneous, despite so clearly being meticulously thought-out.

This is my dumbo brain band. If I want silly dun dun bow wow metalcore riff moments, this is where I go. ooo eee aaa
Not sure I like it more than low teens (one of my favourite metalcore records) but this is definitely an amazing lp. I really fucking love it
Despite it's emo tendencies, Radical is a very good piece of metalcore. The sound does get old after 16 tracks of basically the same sound, however, the production is very good and the band's ability to find a balance between the melodramatic and punk rock sides of metalcore is very admirable. I really like what they're doing here, it just gets old after fifty-minutes.

Edit: nvm this is definitely ETID's magnum opus

Quite possibly ETID's magnum opus. While I felt the second half was weaker than the first, by no means does that mean I didn't very much enjoy it. I'm blown away this album is just so good I can't put it into words. AOTY right here.
