This is my first time listening to kacey musgraves and holy shit! This is amazing.
The only problem is that it feels like the first 3 minutes of a longer song. It's Pretty much a cliffhanger. If it's the intro of her new album, it would've been better if it was a non-single track.
But other than that, this is a brilliant and well-written piece of music with the concept of heartbreak.
Today I'm having a horrible day and Kacey decided to release the first single from her anticipated fourth studio album "Star-Crossed" and it couldn't have lifted my mood any further. With a different production for the singer and enchanting vocals the title track couldn't be a better way to start the project that must chronicle the end of the singer's marriage and divorce.
A change of pace for our conceptual country girl, came totally unexpected and it's brilliant, what's reserved for her next album? who knows... but it might be her most interesting project to date.
I have a slight hunch that the album will be good
