This album is awesome.
I think that the world of modern-day post-punk has become kind of oversaturated through some of its biggest acts such as Squid and Black Country New Road (and every band coming out of the UK at the moment), however from the second I heard Geese's single "Disco" I knew I was in for something special. "projector" by geese almost instantaneously became one of my favorite projects released this year. although only 9 tracks long, the band of teenagers' debut album is a rich and eclectic work of art. cohesive yet daring, the album is made up of 9 compelling and nuanced tracks.
