Enforcer rides that 80's Iron Maiden era shreddiness to make aesthetically pleasing thrash songs.
Unfortunately it sort of camouflages itself among the 80's classics rather than stand out.
People say this band doesn't' have an original sound due to their influences and pretty much trying to sound like an 80's metal band to a fault, and while that may be true to some extent that doesn't stop this album from being well executed.
The most remarkable thing is the guitar work. Great solos, sick fast riffs, classic guitar tones, it's all really good stuff. Vocals are also a major part of this being a very enjoyable listen. Even while trying to go for this ... read more
