Consequence of Sound

In Limbo, isn’t just ’80s posturing; the musical idiosyncrasies and thematic shifts propel this album rapidly past the expected and the easy.

No Ripcord

In Limbo acts not as one large sonic blur, but eleven unique tracks that stand well on their own but are ultimately united by the albums production qualities and dreamy agenda.

When TEEN hits on a groove, though—which happens most of the time—their music compels you right along.

You could say that In Limbo has a firm grip on vibe but a very loose sense of form.

Not a classic, then, but you could just listen to the good ones a lot.

Beats Per Minute

TEEN is another in a long line of mildly interesting but ponderous offshoots from already established bands.

The 405

As a debut album it's a little over-crowded with ideas and ambition, the former being understandable and the latter of which I greatly admire.
