Ladies and gentleman,
Welcome to SAD GIRL HOUR feat. Cat Power!

Gonna be honest, I don't like this too much. It is very, very boring. I know, it is slowcore, but it just doesn't appeal to me. The only thing kept me from leaving the album half way is the songwriting.
Basically, Nick Drake, but worse, in my opinion. Sorry

An entrancing (if depressing) song cycle that yes, reminds me a little of Will Oldham and Bill Callahan in places. Some old school Nick Drake flavour here and there too.

She was really channeling something back in '98.
