One of the shittiest things was when artists released a glorified greatest hits album as a new LP.

In most videos I've seen ranking The Beatles' albums, "Yellow Submarine" ends up at the bottom almost if not every time. The main reason I hear from people being that this is barely even a Beatles album, which I do agree with to an extent, there are only 4 new Beatles songs out of the 13 presented here. And half of it is George Martin scores, which aren't bad, & they're not the weakest part about the album on their own. My main problem with "Yellow Submarine" is that it ... read more
I can definitely see now why this is popularly known as the worst Beatles album.
"Yellow Submarine" is essentially the soundtrack to a film with the exact same name. I'm not sure why The Beatles made this an LP, especially considering that there are only 4 original Beatles songs. 2 of the others are previously released, and the other 7 are specifically for the film and created by George Martin.
