The inescapable Portland rapper continues to go beyond the usual rage rap expectations, bending his voice without ever making it feel gimmicky.
Yeat saying the same phrase over and over again is still more interesting than half of the people making contemporary rap right now. That should say something
Pick and choose. A ton of uninteresting songs here. A couple of amazing ones.
Edit (55 -> 68) PFFFFFFFFFT they weren’t kidding about this being a grower. This album is stupid, 1 note and completely pointless… and it is 22 tracks… BUT it fills a roll.

Pretty long but I just really like his voice on this album, even if hes just repeating the same thing. Couple of standout songs on this album. Production is fucking amazing on this, Unique sound and it's a good listen.
Yeat learned from his previous albums and succeeded in making a very ethereal and bumping sound. The production is as interesting as ever, and he understands what the listeners want. 7/10

can I be honest and say this is easily his worst album imo?
like it's fine ig, but to me it just kinda feels like he hadn't fully found his sound yet, even if he was getting close on some tracks. if u ask me he really came into his own on 2 alive
