The chorus on Phoenix is pretty weak. If that song in general was structured properly meaning that if it flowed correctly it would have been a solid listen from start to finish.
This album might be the most similar to Altered State, probably even more groove centric. While it didn't impress me as much as Sonder and One did, I think it's probably their most cohesive release. Great album.
Edit: Omg it has grown on me massively, especially the more slower tracks are fucking phenomenal.
Favorites: Phoenix (my favorite on the album actually), Utopia (sexiest metal song ever), Seven Names, Messenger, Tourniquet, Survival and Dystopia.
With a new, more melodic singer, these metalists still declare total obeisance to the master of progression.
