Ah bugger, it's another damn covers album. 'World Gone Wrong' differs from Dylan's last album in that the choice of traditional tracks skew a little darker and with a stronger blues influence, which does make it feel distinct from 'Good as I Been to You', but it's still a collection of songs Dylan didn't write performed by a man whose entire claim to fame was his songwriting ability. Naturally I also find it hard to write about this album in the conventional way I usually review records.

Word Gone Wrong is fairly enjoyable Bob Dylan album that has some good tracks but at the end of the day it doesn't leave much of an impact. The folk music here generally better than on the last album and I'm more interested in the lyrics here. My favorite tracks are Love Henry, Delia, Stack A Lee and Lone Pilgrim.
idk why but a lot of these weaker dylan albums later on in his career have amazing title tracks but the rest is just average
This is one of the better Dylan albums recently, but it’s still not amazing. I’m just glad that I got a song or two to take away from this project because that hasn’t happened in a long time with a Dylan album.
