Anaal Nathrakh
Seriously one of the best black metal albums of recent times, it's raw and also infectious with its apparent goth-rock and post-punk influences. The album cover itself is homage to Sisters of Mercy. The riffs and drum patterns on songs like Dominatrix's Call are very reminiscent of something you'd hear on an 80's The Cure record all with Lamp of Murmuur's unique black metal veneer. This is highly original and I can't recommend this enough.
