As far as modern metalcore goes, this is pretty good! It's catchy, versatile, and tightly performed despite it sounding manic as all hell. Lots of post rock, prog-metal, and mathcore cliches, but I still dig most of what this band is trying to do, and it's entirely possible that this could grow on me more during the year.
SeeYouSpaceCowboy's sophomore album see the band going in the right direction, enough this album doesn't necessary push the genre of metalcore to new areas we haven't see, incorporating elements of math rock, post-rock, emo and post-hardcore, and some interesting features but what makes this album stick out is the raw passion that is on display creating such a chaotic atmosphere which one can only describe as a manic episode portrayed in music and that is what makes this enjoyable

I wondered what my hot take this year would be and here it is: I think this album is just very okay.
Nothing in here is outright bad and I get the appeal of this. It's kinda like Killswitch Engage style metalcore mixed with some post-hardcore and some mathcore tendencies. All of which sound good. But the immersion is ruined by a massive inability to stick with an idea and hold onto it long enough to be substantial.
