I like this concept, but while the ocean motif is obvious, I don’t really get the feeling of drowning from this. Still, it is a gorgeous ambient record with shockingly strong electronica sections that meld well with the ambiance. Though I may not get the sense I’m drowning while listening to this, it is really emotive and makes me nostalgic of nights spent on the beach, and according to the Bandcamp page, that’s the goal: “to evoke a lost, empty, longing ... read more
