Easily in the top tier of blink-182 albums. This album was their most mature release to date pre break-up (not sure about reformation efforts). Gone are the immature and crude hidden tracks about beastiality and incest. Instead, the gang really sits down and focuses on creating the best album since Dude Ranch.

The singles from this album are generally good. Feeling This is a fun bop about young love. Mark and Tom certainly are not the best vocalists around but they work well with each on this ... read more
A different direction for the band in terms of genre and themes, it resulted in one of the band’s most important albums. The more mature (if you’d ever call Blink-182 that) lyricism explored in this album is something they achieved surprisingly well. This album suffers from repeating itself a few too many times, but otherwise, a great alternative rock album. And Robert Smith sounds absolutely majestic.
Favourites: Go, Obvious, Easy Target, I Miss You
Least Favourites: Down, Here's ... read more
Blink really recreated themselves on their self-titled album. It sounds much more mature and they explore more interesting themes through each song. It still has the catchy and rawness of blink, they definitely didn’t lose their identity with this album. It’s easily their best work, and it perfects the pop punk sound.

Favourite Tracks: Stockholm Syndrome, Feeling This, Violence, Down, Always, I Miss You
Least Favourite: All Of This

Tom and Mark sing about love, loss, anxiety, running away and paranoia on each of the songs. Every song has a different theme, not one song sounds the same, which is something I think Blink had a problem with.
I'll always hold this album in high regard. It is one of the most important albums of my ... read more
I have to imagine that against popular belief, this is the groups absolute worst album. This was an instance of the group forgetting that their music was fun for their fans and them attempting to craft something serious and introspective and it simply falls flat on its face. The music is frequently boring, the vocals are at least acceptable, but what really gets me here is that this album pretty clearly unveils how poor the group is at writing strong lyrics. These songs are virtually ... read more
