Robert Smith on a Blink-182 album? On paper that sounds like that would be a terrible idea, but All of This just works much better than it should.
Albums like this make me realize Blink-182 doesn't get enough credit. This album is the most experimental Blink-182 ever sounded and it works so well.
Easily in the top tier of blink-182 albums. This album was their most mature release to date pre break-up (not sure about reformation efforts). Gone are the immature and crude hidden tracks about beastiality and incest. Instead, the gang really sits down and focuses on creating the best album since Dude Ranch.
The singles from this album are generally good. Feeling This is a fun bop about young love. Mark and Tom certainly are not the best vocalists around but they work well with each on this ... read more
Blink-182's magnum opus.
This album is sooooo much different from their others. In terms of lyrical content, instrumentation, and overall vibe, it is miles more mature than anything they've put out. There are so many awful ideas on this album; "Violence" sounds like a shitty metalcore-track, "Easy target" attempts to have a heavy metal-style riff, which doesn't mix well with their terrible vocals, and so many tracks are just Blink making a lot of noise without making a lot of sense.
BUT "Feeling This" is a banger, "Go" is very compelling, talking about abuse n stuff, and "I miss You" is the most beautiful thing the band has recorded (even ... read more
