It's dense with detail, but leisurely paced, creating its own dark, haunting world. Pink Floyd may have better albums than Dark Side of the Moon, but no other record defines them quite as well as this one

The music that comprises The Dark Side Of The Moon are compositions that simply describing by mere words do them no justice. It's an album that must be heard by any admirer of not just Progressive rock, but music in general.

"The Dark Side of the Moon" ... transformed Pink Floyd from ambitious art-house hipsters to international superstars, while influencing virtually every rock band of the past forty years.

The Dark Side of the Moon is a fine album with a textural and conceptual richness that not only invites, but demands involvement.

Speak to Me opens in the album in a strange tense way before continuing with well written songs like Time, Money and Us and them. I'm normally bored by instrumentals but the ones on here like On the Run and Any Color You Like are able to hold my attention. The album ends with Brain Damage and Eclipse which both combine to end the album in a brilliant and almost inspiring way. The fact that this ... read more
