This album find Goodbye Honolulu in new waters, finding their unique voice as artists, and the album full of one killer song after another proves that they are just becoming more and more a force to be reckoned with in rock and roll.

One of the best band albums I have heard this year by far.

Solid grooves and silky melodic riffs from start to finish. A huge highlight on this project is the amount of great chorus' falling off the back of some beautifully written verses.

Not much else to say about this, maybe in a way it's more of a compliment, it's such a structurally sound LP and has an incredible amount of replay value which is what 2021 has lacked in standout projects, being flooded with art pieces. This album has left ... read more

I gave a listen to the Canadian band's sophomore eponymous LP about 40 minutes ago and I already forgot pretty much its entirety. Nothing really stood out as I was listening.
As soon as I got to another song, I didn't remember that much from the song I just heard. There was never a point on the album where I thought "hum this is great, I want to listen to that song again".

The album is a statement of freedom, and a message of empowerment, I can respect that. The hooks are on point, there isn't anything bad in terms of production or recording quality that I detected. BUT, On consecutive listens some of the less adventurous tracks get straight boring, especially with how they're structured.
