Musically, it's arguably even more impressive, showcasing the group's interplay and David Gilmour's solos in particular. And while it's short on actual songs, the long, winding soundscapes are constantly enthralling.

Not only am I illiterate, I am also extraordinarily mentally handicapped. Not only am I a few IQ points from being considered a vegetable, I also have an incomprehensibly grating personality. The album is a living beauty, and it achieved that with only 5 tracks that were amazingly conceived and organized. Best Pink Floyd album in my opinion.
Albums like this make me remember what it is that I absolutely love and adore about music itself.
This is amazing, this is outstanding, this is a one-of-a-kind musical experience which, if allowed, can absolutely engulf the listener.

'Wish You Were Here' is in my opinion, the best Pink Floyd album, to me it feels like Pink Floyd at their best in terms of songwriting and instrumentation, it's a stunning piece that sounds both otherworldly and potent, and for the longest time now it has been one of my favourite albums of all time.
