Blanket - Modern Escapism

Genre: Post Metal
Country: UK

Final Verdict: 60% (Good Album)
Yearly Ranking: 394th / 823

Highlight: Where the Light Takes Us

Made me think of:
Coheed and Cambria
Sometimes it sounds like a Loathe ripoff (Kadeem France is featured on track 6 so it was somewhat expected), but for the most part is a really pleasant and enigmatic experience.
In comparison to others in its field, this particular album stands out as one-of-a-kind. Blanket offer a very unique cinematic sound in here with a lot of intensity. This is what I wish the new Deafheaven sounded like. It also doesn't drag itself out for too long. Definitely a highlight album this year.
Imagina unir a Deftones, Deafheaven y algo de post hardcore en un álbum. Dije imagina porque esta banda busca algo así y no lo logra
