This is the album where it all changed, as the one they call Young Sinatra comes into his own and proves his nearly perfect debut was no isolated fluke.

The Incredible True Story is Logic's best work yet, but there's still work to be done bridging the gulf between his ambition and his ability.

Piloting The Incredible True Story proverbial galaxies away from a sophomore slump, Logic is exhausting all of his creativity and wasting no time in his mission to reserve a place for himself in the Hip Hop history books.

Logic has the tools to create music that has longevity, but has yet to unlock the characteristics that truly set him apart.

Edit: Honestly I wouldn't even call it a guilty pleasure, it's just good ass pop rap. It brings back a whole lot of memories and is just absolutely packed with his best material to date. Yeah it's not incredible lyrically but for the most part, this is great.

This album is basically my guilty pleasure if I'm being honest. This is some of the best production I've heard on a Logic album by far, and in my opinion, that's what carries this project. The concept is a little weak but keeps the ... read more

That aside, the skits definitely don't take away anything from the album as a whole, if anything they provide a very interesting context along ... read more

Calling this the album "that changed everything" might be feigning a little braggadocio, but it certainly was when you could feel Logic coming into his skin and making a respectable name for himself in the music industry. Moreover, this album unapologetically embraces Logic personality through his fairly inspired (yet still true-to-the-heart) sci-fi story, underscoring his love for the genre and headlining Logic's personal passions and inspirations outside of rap (which is definitely ... read more
