Night Visions is so safe and middle of the road that it leaves you with the same hollow feeling that Las Vegas can, without the dizzying high and sensual assault that got you there in the first place.

When it comes to the indie boom of 2012 honestly Imagine Dragons are my fav band to become popular during that time. Here they crafted a bunch of catchy, fun, somewhat interesting indie pop/alt rock bangers, they def got bigger than anyone expected them to get and, imo, deserved it. And sure Demons might tend to go on the bad side of vague and the tracks Every Night and Bleeding Out are certainly overproduced but y'know what, I...do not care, Demons does get more interesting after the first ... read more

I expected Imagine Dragons to become more ambitious with upcoming releases and this was simply a debut to play it safe. Apparently I was VERY wrong

Believe it or not, there was a time when Imagine Dragons' music wasn't entirely offensive. I quite liked this album and still come back to it from time to time. I wish they would have stuck to this more indie sound instead of the pop rock stuff you hear from them nowadays.
