Night Visions is so safe and middle of the road that it leaves you with the same hollow feeling that Las Vegas can, without the dizzying high and sensual assault that got you there in the first place.
This is one of those sentimental ratings, i am fully aware of this albums many flaws but I still find myself in love with it because of what it means to me
When it comes to the indie boom of 2012 honestly Imagine Dragons are my fav band to become popular during that time. Here they crafted a bunch of catchy, fun, somewhat interesting indie pop/alt rock bangers, they def got bigger than anyone expected them to get and, imo, deserved it. Probably the best ID album? Not sure how much of a compliment this is tho… the second half drags soooooo much and once again they’ve stuck their biggest songs at the front… fairs
