CRITIC REVIEWS

NME
A singer-songwriter’s pop album through and through, strong melodies and fluid songwriting take precedence over the usual disjointed melee of devices and decontextualised hooks that come about when producers write albums.

AllMusic

Much like Jepsen's Emotion or Swift's 1989, Foxes' All I Need is vibrant, intelligently crafted pop pleasure.

70
Rolling Stone

Her music is both familiar and twisty, blowing up live drums into huge beats, telescoping her throaty voice into massive choruses, and diving into the trashy transcendence of Eurodisco power ballads.

70
PopMatters

It features some of the most brilliant pop songs this year is going to see, mainly because they rely on passé (as of now) concepts such as songcraft and technique.

60
The Guardian

Her lyrics may be personal, but the package as a whole feels disappointingly generic.

Pitchfork
As much as you want to root for Foxes to find her feet, there’s nothing rule-breaking or remotely interesting about this record. Of all the shifting demands on pop stars and hits over the years, catchiness is the one element that remains unchanged, and it's completely missing here.
20
Clash
With sophomore LP ‘All I Need’, any trace of the identity that once set Foxes apart from other pop acts has been wiped clean. The album resembles a generic template, fashioned by several verified hit-makers, which could feature just about any old pop artist.

This is Carly Rae Jepsen's EMOTION gone wrong. I just can't help it but feel like this album was done without any effort or evolving sound. Allen's vocals are always beautiful and heart-wrenching, but her lyrics are kinda underwhelming. The production is boring most of the time and it feels unidimensional. At the end, you wish this wasn't as half-baked as it is, 'cause it's definitely a step backwards compared to Glorious.

Fav tracks: Body Talk, Wicked Love, Money.
Least fav track: Scar.

I really enjoyed this album my first listen but I had to go back to listen to it before writing this review because I forgot a bunch of the songs. Again, enjoyable but not memorable.
Best tracks: Devil Side, On My Way, Shoot Me Down
Worst tracks: Lose My Cool

it is not good, but it is not bad either. i had many expectations from her. because i really like her personality and her voice.

Has both good and boring. A little too much sameness through the album makes it easy to lose in the background.
