Well worth digesting both as a film and as a record in itself, A Tear In The Fabric Of Life is one of the finest EPs you’ll hear all year.
Kentucky metalcore band, Knocked Loose explore trauma and grief through a tragic narrative on their new EP, A Tear in the Fabric of Life.
Kentucky maulers Knocked Loose showcase new levels of dynamism and devastation as they drag us through A Tear In The Fabric Of Life.
Deserves a 10/10 at this point despite being just an EP. The lyrics add so much more to it holy shit. The topic of death and losing a person close to you is delivered in the most painful way possible. Specifically a passenger in a car crash, but it can be interpreted in any way. A Tear in the Fabric of Life is another example of the best project being just an EP, but not just an EP, a very good EP.
This EP is a dread experience with topics of suicide and the story of a car crash where a man loses his lover.
the concept of this EP is executed great with brutal songwriting.
Instrumentals only add to the brutality of this project, along with the vocals that consistently switch from formal screamo to grindcore. A lot of ideas and just the final product are really ... read more
