It’s not terrible, but in comparison to the previous albums (and what comes next) “DSV1” just seems like a bizarre detour for ambient b-sides than a full on 4th album. There’s barely anything I can say about this album that you haven’t heard about any number of ambient albums, however with this one, it’s so bland and one note that it’s kinda weird it following the 2 masterpieces that preceded it before hand. This M83 project really isn't anything special and you could easily skip it in his discography. It's pretty chill music but it never really feels like it amounts to anything. Best track was Coloring the Void.

We are back boys after a bit of a break I am back to the discography of M83 and today I am on the 4th album named Digital Shades Vol. 1, the only volume of this serious for some reason. This album was released in 2007 and is probably known as the least relevant M83 other than the debut because in reality who actually cares about this album.
