White Noise

someone thought they would have listened to all of PVRIS' album by the time their third album dropped...oh well :(

One of my favorite debut album. PVRIS have something really rock in their approach of synth pop and electronic. Can seem to be generic because the songs is linked perfectly with each others but we cannot say they sound the same, every one have his own particularity.
I like a lot the raw voice of Lynn it comes in contrast with the soft and pop passages, it makes it very powerful and consistent, I wished they stayed at this rock root a little more in their discography. I also liked all the ... read more

PVRIS has a very unique tone, which makes them a really unique band. Their debut album, White Noise was a great album all around, with various sounds, centering around rock, but also mixed in with pop and electronic synths as well. Overall they write good lyrics, while keeping them slightly cryptic at the same time. My favorite songs off the album were You and I, White Noise, and Holy.

Fantastic album! it has a great mix of electronic, pop rock and even some post-hardcore elements on there. And oh boy they fucking know how to write a catchy hook!
Favorites: Eyelids, Holy, White Noise, Mirrors, My House and Fire.
