On Topical Dancer, Charlotte Adigéry and Bolis Pupul prove themselves a force to be reckoned with.
At its heart, Topical Dancer is a fantastic pop record, one that is lyrically unflinching and musically compelling.
Topical Dancer is a record for literally anyone. It’s a tool as much as it is an escape hatch. Play this album for your grandparents, your parents, your children, your children’s children, and children yet to be born. For it’s a spiritual palette cleanser as much as it is a physical one.

One of the weirdest projects that I’ve heard this year, but honestly, this is EXTREMELY GOOD! It really is! It’s a mixture of dance, experimental and other peculiar sounds all wrapped up by intelligent social commentary. Yes, the word to sum up my thoughts on this project is “intelligent”. But it’s also really fun!
