First Pixies album I decided to listen to.
Now call this controversial, but the production is really muddy and sometimes the vocals are really low in the mix, which slightly ruins the album.
But hey, it's still a pretty good album.
While not as iconic as their earlier work, this album is still really good. It sounds a lot more polished but that really helps with the direction they were going here.
Pixies have cranked out nothing but fun indie indie songs with incredibly catchy hooks their whole career.
