Keeley Forsyth - Limb

Genre: Avant Folk
Country: UK

Final Verdict: 60% (Good Album)
Yearly Ranking: 151th / 257

Highlight: Bring me Water

Made me think of:
Aoife Nessa Frances
Isobel Campbell
The Weather Station

The compositions are sparse and haunting, allowing for vocals to set the stage and they do so well for the most part. The only gripe I consistently found with this record is that the lyrics, which are also sparse, are too abstract to gather themes concepts that string the record together. And from the sound of things, it seems this album tries to tackle some profound topics, but the lyrics are too cryptic to understand.
