Amor Supremo is a gorgeous, smart, and largely overlooked Mexican indie pop album with some of the most lovely vocals I heard anywhere in 2015.

Though the lyrics are usually the weak point of this album, they still reflect the human in Carla Morrison's most ambitious album, the album she needed to create in order to confirm she can actually headline shows. There are tracks like "Tierra Ajena" and "No Vuelvo Jamás" that could become future classics, meanwhile others like "Mi Secreto" and "Vez Primera" slow even more the pace of this album.
