In 2018 there was a search for a new style of stoner rock album and on III Weedpecker delivered the goods with mega tracks like ‘Liquid Sky’ that utilises funky bass and melodic/noodlie guitars to create space while the absolutely beautiful and searching ‘Embrace’ was a key song in my 2018 listening.
