Antidawn is special. It is unlikely that you will experience anything else quite like this for the rest of the year.
This is delicate, complex music that demands relistening. It’s certainly frustrating at first, especially if you’re expecting another dubstep masterpiece. But it grows on you given openness and attention.
Antidawn is many things, but most of all, it is the sound of our lives behind concrete walls and glass windows, on dark streets and in dirty sheets. It breathes, forever encased, in darkness and in light.

Bevan infuses his music with a glowing warmth, these tunes framed like prayers for happier times ahead.
Directionless drifting might make Antidawn seem difficult compared to other Burial releases, but there's something quietly powerful in the way he's able to express the sensation of being inexplicably lost.
