Wow, this is a pleasant little surprise. Jana Horn is wholly unique. I could pull bits and pieces of her work that can be compared to other artists if I wanted to—her voice similar to Lucy Dacus but with the melodic approach of Regina Spektor and the flexibility of Joni Mitchell; the lo-fi aesthetic akin to the Microphones or even NMH with the occasional horn sections.
