James Blake debuts here with a 12-inch on Untold's Hemlock Recordings that showcases a real flair for fusing melody into the dancing drum patterns and erratic hi-hats of his dubstep productions.

First time hearing these tracks. It's nice to go back into his discography and see how he got started. Love these two songs.

Damn thanks for the 100 followers! It’s already at 110 in like 2 days. I’m speechless. I want to do a bigger, better review to commemorate that, but for now, I just want to pop in here, say “I love James Blake”, and pop out.

James Blake chose two really solid tracks to kick things off with, both twisting and churning the typical dubstep sound into something sluggishly chaotic. The title track is great, but personally I found myself vibing more with the progressive and unpredictable Sparing the Horses.
