Whether he's rapping over Bach, suing a major media company, or making the drive thru shift hard for some poor fast food worker, Busdriver's personality and rapping ability on Temporary Forever are without a doubt on full display in the only way Busdriver would have it. His voice can get E-40 levels of obnoxious/annoying, but he spits with a frantic, wordy pace like Aesop Rock. In another life this dude is a successful voice actor, I swear. Experimental, jazzy, weird and completely out-there. Busdriver was like no one else and no one else was like Busdriver. Temporary Forever stands as his masterpiece.

Brilliant project in every front. Having a rapper just as if not more abstract than the instrumentals themselves, pulling you around with his demanding flows gives you one of the most confidently fun albums I've heard in the genre. "Zany" is the perfect word for everything here. Witty lyrics with a great sense of humor that sets the tone perfectly for the topics being discussed and how they're being tackled. I’ve never listened to an album as polarising to me as ‘temporary forever’, literally had three back to back listens just to fully understand not just the album but how I felt about certain songs. Basically I feel like this is one of the most creative and imaginary albums of all time, the lyricism uses a large range of literary devices to express busdrivers thought in unexpected and unique fashion.
