Kristiansand's very own Honningbarna are an electrifying indie punk outlet who bring their very best to the table on "Animorphs". This sun-kissed brand of punk rock is truly highlighting the band's chemistry, making them feel like the well-oiled machine they ought to be by now. This could very well end up being what European punk fans consume for the summer.

This tapped into an anger and a euphoria I’ve needed to release for a while

Known for their insane live shows, honningbarna prove that they can be pretty fantastic on record too. Ever since Opp De Nye Blanke in 2014 these guys have managed to capture their complete chaos live perfectly on albums, listening to this i can instantly smell the sweat and feel the rush of being at one of their gigs and it is fucking bliss

This makes punk seem super accessible. While it’s noisy with screamed vocals, which a lot of folk hate, it’s also very fun and relaxed in a way that a lot of punk bands can forget about after releasing so many lps. The fast pummelling riffs sound so natural and innate to these guys and gives them such an appeal that transcends language and make me come back to scream along.
