On his first release since his 2020 breakthrough EP I’m Gone, iann dior is continuing to boss his way through genre boundaries with top-calibre tunes.
On to Better Things gets more interesting when Dior commits fully to exploring different approaches.
'on to better things' is Iann Dior's new album and I thought I'd check it out as adored the two singles leading up to the album, 'V12' and 'let you', both having shown an incredible increase in quality from Iann Dior's past music while snippets were equally intriguing, making me think that Iann Dior was actually on to better things but we witness him sadly sticking to a stale pop sound, trying to pursue a larger audience using his singing but forgetting to fuel the fire he had going on the two ... read more

Jesus Christ what a catastrophe of an album. I don’t think I’ve ever hated an album as much as this. I already don’t like Emo Rap but Jesus this album makes me hate it even more. So bland, corny, messy it’s just everything that I hate about emo rap intensified. And what is Iann Dior even adding or doing in the emo rap scene.
I think this album shows exactly what a talent Iann Dior has.
