Please, I'm begging you, just stand down. Put down the guitar and get a job at Burger King.

Really wanted to like it more. I mean... it's good. But still underwhelming. Muse are not and will never be the same as they were in the 2000's.

Muse has gone metal? who is this for? I don't expect boomers to listen to such an actually heavy song, but it feels really oldheaded in a lot of other areas. This song is mess, but a fun one

I mean it’s a little cheesy but it’s the best muse single in a long time. I love the more heavier parts and hope they do more stuff like this

A relative disappointment. Hoped for like a 70.

The verse is really corny but Im actually really impressed with how they pulled off that chorus. Its a older muse quality of melody and composition that is really worth appreciating. The Nu metal influences only add to the cheesiness that I love so much out of muse. Its not their worst track, that's for sure

This is definitely an improvement over what they were doing on Simulation Theory. Which is an album I still regret buying. This song is the complete opposite of Simulation Theory as it just a straight hard rock/metal track with electronic and industrial elements in the verses. I don't really care for Matt's vocals in the verses. The verses all sound kind of sloppy to me. Same goes for the transitions from the verses to the heavy guitars. However, the riffs and drums on this track are tight. I'm ... read more

Yeah, I lost complete hope for this band.
They used to be literally top 5 bands for me, Simulation Theory was already quite generic and boring.
This is next level, this is Imagine Dragons levels of generic and shit.

This sounds like Simulation Theory + Drones.

Matt's vocal performance on the verses sound like shit but the guitars on the chorus and the energy of it do kinda resonate with me. I am not too sure if I am into this one tbh. It's not bad but god the verses just kind of ruin the first half of the track for me and the pay off is not enough to make this anything more than an okay song.

God damn that effect just butchers Matt's voice. I genuienly believe the song would be atleast a bit better if ... read more

Claro, essa ... read more

Tacky rock sound and corny-ass writing, at least it's pretty heavy in some parts (except the weird mixing decision where the instruments go quiet in the chorus, for some reason, why would they do this?)

I haven’t seen anything in this website with ratings this drastic

No, please, stand down.

I figured I’ll make my album reviews intricate and super detailed, and my single reviews brief.

This just sounds like the Arcane theme but with a few heavy metal passages. In fact, I think the metal makes it worse, as the transitions from overproduced Imagine Dragons type shit and gnarly metal riffs is not just incoherent and lacking in musical nuance, it’s frustrating,,, could’ve been so much better.

I'm so happy

... I'm less happy about what it represents?

Look, I love Muse as much as the next White Boy, but I think they need to move past their political bullshit. They've been trying to 'Rage Against the Machine' and 'Get up and Fight' for the last four albums now, and I think the well has been dried up in terms of trying to fight against the powers that be. They wrote Uprising in 2009. That's 10 years ago, and they still seem to want to retread new ground with the newest lick of paint ... read more

Good song, but Muse is a band that in this moments is not my interest for me.

I think the band has become so boring with the anti-system lyrics and the same style as always, but these riffs in this song sounds very good and heavy., maybe their band we will love it

I was hyped for this shit? I feel just like I'm the dumbest person to ever live. Since I discovered Muse I enjoyed everything from them. And, to be honest, I know the drop in quality they had through the years, but I always listened to their stuff and had fun with it. But this shit, man, this time is for real, just look to what senility does to a bunch of mfs. The song is uninspired, souless, the voice is weak and low, the hook is a major disappointment and the heaviest moments although are ... read more

I was hyped from the previews but the overall track is a huge mixed bag. I admire the alt metal guitars, I think the chorus is pretty solid and the breakdown is fantastic, but the verses are... not very good. They have this forced reggae flair to them along with an even more forced Imagine Dragons-type flow from Matt Bellamy that leaves a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. Overall, this is one of the more competent Muse singles in a while, but I'm still very cautious about this next record.
