"Brendan Perry" songs are very special in this album, but it is another masterpiece. "Yulunga" is maybe the most beautiful song in the universe...A mesmerizing trip, with "Towards the within", "Saldek","Ariadne" of the most original album ever

Along with the compilation, A Passage In Time I find that I return to this record regularly. So much to love by way of Perry crooners [The Ubiquitous Mr. Lovegrove] and Gerrard's ethereal vocals [The Wind That Shakes the Barley.] My suggestion: A heady mix of modern Classical, Ethnic Fusion and Art Rock make this an essential DCD LP. Please note I am very uncomfortable with the ‘Darkwave” and ‘Neoclassical Darkwave’ tags. Easily found in the '08 remastered form. Local ... read more
