It has hit me "right in the feels" and I really appreciate the songcraft and the homework these guys did before putting it all together. This record is ferocious.

With It’s Time… To Rise From The Grave, UNDEATH have spawned a worthy follow-up to their impressive debut and showcase just why they are considered one of the torchbearers for the next generation of death metal.

Zombie armies, mortal standoffs, gravesite robberies: On its ecstatic second album, the Rochester metal band has fun with death.

"It's Time… To Rise from the Grave" does not strive to reinvent the death metal wheel, but it is more than happy to jam a few dismembered fingers into the spokes. A timely and top-class (un)demise for all concerned.

The New York squad not only confirmed expectations by refining their formula, making it catchier, but also expanded into a stronger collective, thus enhancing their arsenal.

It’s Time…To Rise From The Grave is a powerful album that will doubtless see 2022 become the year that that Undeath are recognised as one of the genre’s best contemporary bands.

If you're looking for a straightforward—sometimes even catchy—old school death metal album, Undeath's got you covered.

In recent times I've grown to love a lot of Death Metal, I still have a lot of classic records and discographies to explore within the genre but I also still need to give a chance to some other more modern bands in this style whether it be the more straightforward ones or the more out there ones, well Undeath came out with their new album 'It's Time...To Rise From the Grave' just in time for me start doing that and all in all this fucking rips from front to back. Undeath take from a very ... read more

Undeath improve on all front from their already impressive debut with their sophomore alum, It's Time... To Rise from the Grave. A thick, infernal aggresive death metal release which sees better production, songwriting, vocals and technical abilities for an album which plummets you into the delves of violence with strong riffs, crushing bass and drums for such a dense listen.

It's brutal, it's disgusting, it's an Undeath record which means it's some old school death metal that doesn't try to reinvent the genre, but the execution is top notch. Just like their last album, It's Time...To Rise from the Grave is 10 tracks and 35 minutes, which is proof that Undeath has their music down to a science, but it is such an effective formula. They have the heavy and chunky, yet very memorable riffs of a Morbid Angel, thick production, buzzsaw guitar tones and wild Slayer type ... read more

This is an improvement on all fronts

A very solid American death metal. And it maybe deserved 3.5 stars if it wasn't sooo standard.
