[Edit 12/1/22: okay it's amazing lmao. Much better than Bin Reaper 3 even though that's also a banger album. This one just has so much more charm, his best album.]

I doubted... and I am ashamed. BabyTron is a music phenomenon.

I was NOT expecting this. This is the first-ever project I have heard from BabyTron, I actually haven't even listened to a full song from him until now. I have heard the name but I have never had the urge to listen to his music. So when I started this album, I was ... read more

before babytron i was an incomplete loser living in my mother's basement. no hoes, no cash, no friends, NOTHING. but, one day when i was wallowing in the pain of my life scrolling on the /r9k/ board on 4chan, i saw a fellow "man of culture" post about this mixed rapper from detroit, michigan who had supposedly "changed his life". i was one to assume that this man was simply gaffing over this strange random mumble crapper that had made some new rounds in the scene, so i ... read more

BabyTron loves making the same song over and over again and I love listening to it

Babytron continues his streak as one of the best rappers in the game today. I am genuinely stating that Tron is a top 10 rapper in the game today.

Well... Not the record I expected going into in life.
This is yet again a swap this time with AOTY user @ZironReviews, who will hopefully enjoy the record I told him to try -Janet Jackson's "The Velvet Rope".

Right off the bat I should mention: I'm not a huge fan of trap. As soon as I saw the genre attached to this project, I became a bit sceptical. My first thought was "this is going to be pretty much one note and not much variety will be found here". Was I right? ... read more

Babytron and versatility are two things that don't go together. Throughout the 23 songs of MEGATRON, He keeps the same flow, vocal delivery, and lyrical focus with basically no change. That sounds like a recipe for an agonizingly boring listening experience right? It would be if Babytron wasn't so damn good at what he does!

This is hands down the funniest and most quotable hip hop album of the year. Babytron lays out fire punchline after fire punchline like it's nothing, all the while ... read more

It's like the same song 23 times in a row, but man its a fire song

Unironically one of the best new artists. Almost every song on this is good. A mix of great delivery, funny lyrics, and funky 80s/90s sample trap beats make one helluva album

Peeps, I am indeed now a BabyTron fan. This dude raps for 1 hour and his bars and cadences are just so varied. The beats are just beyond comprehension at some points xD.
This is the scam rap/Detroit version of Donda.

Wow, I'm honestly really surprised and impressed by this album. I've been a little familiar with Babytrons style before I listened to this project, and I didn't think I would enjoy his music that much. Regardless, I listened to Megatron and was pretty impressed with what I heard. Babytron has conjured a signature style that he utilizes in all of his music. His sped-up, detroit trap style has helped him gain popularity over the years, and it's honestly pretty infectious. While I do think there ... read more

This was a pretty rough listen. While it has some okay songs, Megatron felt like the same song over and over again. Babytron barely switched his flow up and the beats on here are more or less identical with a sound effect or sample that's different.

Other than some cool bars or verses, Megatron was very repetitive and uninteresting. Also, this is a very poor representation of what the Detroit rap scene really is like.

lmao what is this

thank you @R3kulous for reviewing this and making me intrigued in what BabytTron's music is like. This is one of the most fun things I have ever listened too, I love his voice so much, it does not drag . The only critique I have about this album is that the features blow as BabyTron with his unique style works better on his own

MegaTron is the first BabyTron album ive ever heard and it is absolutely amazing. So many good songs and the new Megatron 2 is really underwhelming compared to this masterpiece. My 3 favorite songs were
1. Crocs & Wock'
2. 6 Star Wanted Level
3. God Tier

I don't know what to make of this. I can get behind BabyTron as a rapper. He's got a nice flow and chill charisma that reminds me just a little of bbno$. The problem is that over the course of 23 tracks (which, why?) he barely switches his flow AT ALL. The speed and energy varies a bit, but he's rapping more or less the same way. This occasionally translates to some very off-beat tracks, most notably "Cobra Kai" which sounds like he didn't even listen to the beat.

He also punches in ... read more

Trons first album was a really strong one. As always there are some really good lines and samples on this. Other than the features on this everything clicks and does really well as tron does not miss on anything he does.

(Trying to review something everyday for the rest of the year)
Day: 44
This record is a major mess of a simple sound for too long. The first 5-10 tracks are good, because I like Babytron’s sound, but it goes down until the last track, the rest of the tracks between Crocs & Wock’ and 10 Toes Wherever are either just alright or bad, very rare are good. It’s great that Babytron knows his limits with his sound and how to evolve it on his new record(not the deluxe).
