this album is amazing but fuck the lead singer
heckin' A this is really good. Some of the most impressive metal performances of the year, lots of variety to keep the album fresh all the way through, and to top it all off, it's about space. Who doesn't love space? Everyone loves space
one of the best metal albums of the fucking decade baby
I liked this album more than I thought. The first song was interesting with changing rhythms and great drumming. It has parts that lets you breath. Like the technical talent makes art and atmosphere rather than show off the talent. I do have problems with the vocals. They seem almost screechy sometimes. Like a sound of someone rubbing a fork against the plate. Really hurts to listen sometimes.

The vocals are the main thing that I dislike, but it's enough to make me really dislike this a lot. I will likely listen to this again without vocals, because I did enjoy the musicianship at points. Sometimes it went overboard, but that seems common for the genre. Length of this album and lack of enough variety will also keep me away from this one. This will get a meh rating from me in the meantime. Instrumental version would bump up my rating about 25%.
