So, I have to add The Struts album on the website, really? I heard about them reading a list of "10 artists you have to listen to" on www.rollingstone.com, where they were not showing! But two reviewers had the good idea to mention them, with such vibrant words that I had to give them a try. I bought their album a couple of hours later, saw them in concert twice and am ready to see them again. Let me start off on a positive note by saying that The Struts can deliver a catchy chorus with real umph. While lacking any real substance, "Everybody Wants" manages to hold on to the charm and hooks associated with old fashioned rock--leather pants and all. However, I would like a little more attention given to novel, meaningful lyrics rather than chasing Def Leppard's tail in form and finish...
