This project is the better of the two projects that Mura Masa has released so far. Someday Somewhere is a beautiful, brief EP which showcases the many different sounds he's going for for his upcoming debut album. The first track Are U There? starts off with this heartbeat-esque intro before bringing in the keys and finally the vocals before going into a splendid drop. This is definitely more enjoyable than his first project, the recording and mastering sounds a lot less cheap which is good, it's more concise and trimmed down too, but I can't help but feel like this project is just a little overly dramatic at times. The Your Bones interlude song for example comes off really melodramatic imo, to a corny degree, but there is more diversity here than on the first project which is good, and again much like the first project the production generally speaking is ... read more
