This EP suffers from some of the same issues that Napalm Death's last album had seeing as these seem to be cut tracks from that album. I'm not going to restate all of those issues again, and instead I'm gonna get to the most frustrating part of the EP. The second track, and the last track specifically make for a frustrating waste of time. The last track is literally the second track except a little bit doomier and drawn out. Napalm Death's mini album is satisfactory, but not much more.

Resentment Is Always Seismic is a typical example of late career Napalm Death's blend of grindcore and industrial metal, although it does have a few weird and wonderful moments particularly with the track People Pie, a slap bass driven mid tempo track. Other than that though, it offers little in the way of surprises.
Verdict: Recommended for fans of the style
