The first six tracks are INCREDIBLE. This thing FUCKS SO HEAVY. Then it starts to get a little bit familiar on tracks 7 and 8, but by the final track we just get a barrage of noise that made my jaw drop. Holy shit this is amazing, I loved almost every minute of this.
Oddly one of the more self aware metal albums to come out the decade. In the sense where it perfectly knows where to push hard and where to not cross lines. Steeped in tradition, but cutting edge enough to push the envelope.
