Great that Moderat is back, but the record is a bit strange. It doesn't contain any song that feels as thrilling, dark and interesting as for example Eating Hooks, Rusty Nails or The Fool. Still, as a whole, the album is easier to listen to.
Verdict: Not bad, but still a bit disappointed.
As a big fan of the group, I have to say that this album is a disappointment. The instrumental part seems to me quite out of date with contemporary electronic music, plus it loses one of the great characteristics of moderat, which is the vocal expression. The album feels improvised and rather gray
